About Us

The T&S Way: A Legacy of Excellence

Born of an entrepreneurial spirit, a willingness to back themselves and take a punt, and a healthy dash of Aussie grit and determination, T&S Signcraft was founded by Trevor and Sue in 1985 in Sydney, Australia. Recognising an opportunity and drawing on Trevor's global experiences with Qantas Airways in the 1970s, they embarked on a journey to bring something new and different to the Australian market - custom medals, insignia and decorations of a quality level not seen before.

Their commitment to doing things the right way, the T&S way, became one of the cornerstones of their success. From their very first project, crafting 50 school badges for a small Catholic primary school, until today, T&S has remained steadfast in their pursuit of unmatched quality, excellence and customer satisfaction. Their dedication to exceeding expectations has seen T&S grow from strength to strength for almost four decades, with innovation and experience at every level of their business.

A milestone achievement in the T&S story occurred in 2000 when the Australian Honours Secretariat, Canberra, entrusted T&S with the annual production of the prestigious Order of Australia. T&S understands the privilege and responsibility of producing medals and insignia in the Australian Honours System and is honoured to have continued this partnership for over 20 years.

With multiple generations of the family actively engaged in the business, T&S continues to embrace the values that shaped its inception, ensuring that the legacy of excellence endures for generations to come.

Our founders, Trevor and Sue, at St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill to present them with the bespoke Marist Heart that T&S were commissioned to craft to commemorate the Bicentenary of the Marist Order in Australia.

At T&S, we recognise our responsibility to protect our planet. Regularly reviewing all aspects of our operations, we include sustainability assessments to drive meaningful change.

Within our offices, we embrace eco-conscious practices such as employing LED lighting and zoned, size-appropriate air-conditioning. We opt for recycled office products when available and ensure the reuse or recycling of incoming cartons and void fill. When interstate or international travel is required we choose carbon offset flight options, where available.

In our factory, we promote manufacturing efficiency by meticulously monitoring and optimising raw materials usage to minimise wastage. Our inventory management system reduces supply chain issues and shipments from suppliers, lessening resource consumption, while scheduled maintenance extends the usable life of our plant and equipment. Our plating department and waste treatment plant safely manage hazardous materials from manufacturing processes, ensuring eco-friendly disposal.

Committed to quality, we only craft medals and insignia designed to last for many years, if not generations. Additionally, we strive to increase the recycled content of accessories like presentation cases and citation folders.

Mindful packaging choices maximise material efficiency while providing optimal protection during transit and storage. Waste reuse is part of our strategy, ensuring used cartons and packaging materials are repurposed whenever possible, before being responsibly recycled when their value is exhausted.
